Berry Trifle Recipe

This is a very straight forward berry trifle recipe. It is told from an American perspective with the use of pound cake instead of sponge fingers but that isn't a problem at all because it sure looks tasty.

There is a lot of fresh berries that do into this trifle recipe. So, you can almost pretend it is a health food if it makes you feel any better by all that whipped cream.

A notable difference between this recipe and classic English trifle is the absence of alcohol or any extra liquid at all. The berries will certainly release their juices but normally there is some sort of booze that the cake portion of the trifle recipe is soaked in first.
